Types of exercise
Physical exercises are generally grouped into three types depending on the overall effect they have on the human body:
Flexibility exercises such as stretching improve the range of motion of muscles and joints
Aerobic exercises such as cycling, swimming, walking, skipping rope, rowing, running, hiking or playing tennis focus on increasing cardiovascular endurance.
Anaerobic exercises such as weight training functional training eccentric
Training or sprinting and high-intensity interval training increase short-term muscle strength

Equestrian sports... I'm currently schooling in dressage. I'm burning about 800 calories a ride. I used to burn more, but I'm not riding as much. :/ I only ride for about forty minutes anymore.

I hate working out though. It's so boring. I like my wii fit... it actually works lol. I do it on the days I don't ride. It's not as boring as working out on a machine and it keeps your attention.
