Either can be online or in person, regardless of where the bible clearly states what God thinks of them and his judgment upon them.
People who preform acts such as these are consumed by hate and revenge, this is what God's word says about it.
Mathew 6:24
"No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, you cannot serve God and mammon." Therefor i say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, nor about your body. What you will put on . Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
I f you hate others you are not of me, if you intend to do evil to another you are not of me, for you will receive judgment from God in heaven.
He knows all and sees all.
