So I use my laptop to connect to and program telephone systems. Previously, I used a program called Procomm to connect which worked basically like HyperTerminal. Well, my old laptop died and the new one wont open Procomm on it's Win8 OS. I downloaded Putty as an alternative and it works fine for the phone system, but is has problems connecting to the Win Communications SmartVoice vice mail.
I type something and all I see is junk come up, please help me!
