Both of my dogs are rescue dogs, my lab was about to be put down at a humane society. He was at least 45 pounds under weight, he contracted kennel cough and his fur was greasy and manged. He was a mess in a mess to say the least. My need for a hearing dog was great, being deaf was the prayer my lab needed to save his life. I fell in love with him the moment interacted with him. He had a rough transaction, being sick and under weight was a struggle to reach recovery. He was on antibiotics for three months, there were times i thought i would lose him. God was with both of us and we pulled through with flying colors! he was 1.5 yrs old when rescued. He just turned 3 yrs old in February! So happy birthday to Kippy Very Happy
Bully was an abuse rescue he was left outside without food and water, he was physically abused and totally confused. he was two months old and he's a now 1yr old. Both are doing fine kip is actually over weight right now and bully is still trying to grow into his skin lol!
With their past comes potential problems, bully is no exception. However he' has came out of her shell and doing much better.

Kippy still has the urge to be timid and almost depressed, i guess i'd have flash backs of my demise to! He knew what was going on some way.
